Having been interested in electronics from a young age, when computers came along it was a subject that I naturally took to: initially from the technical electronic/electrical engineering side, then the complexities of programming, and finally the graphical creative aspect.
35 years ago I was designing and building basic logic controllers and computers from scratch, as well as adopting some of the early kits. I think this officially makes me one of the early PC ‘Nerds’!
I was fortunate enough to make computers part of my career initially working for a high street bank in their main computer centre, and later across many businesses, which gave me access to a host of new technology, technical platforms and business environments.
I learnt several programming languages and began my interest in computer graphics, application development and since 2005, web site design and build, which pulls together all the varied skills.
I work as an independent IT Consultant keeping on top of the new developments, to enhance my business and to help people with their aspirations or problems.
